Cool Events and Things To Do In Barrie This Weekend
Have A Craft Beer
Beer is the answer (usually). And even if it isn’t, there are worse ways to spend and afternoon (or morning…we don’t judge) sipping on a sumptuous craft ale.
Barrie is home to a trio of stellar beer barons, and with patio season inching ever closer, you may want to brush up on you local bevy selections.
In addition to the suds, some of the brewers offer tours, so you can see how the deliciousness comes together.
Hit up Redline Brewhouse, Barnstormers or Flying Monkey’s this weekend to sample for yourself.
Try Curling
With capacity limits lifting, sports can get back to packed houses.
And if you have any rock tossing fans in the house, you can try your hand at hurrying hard this weekend at the Barrie Curling Club.
Open to curlers and non-curlers, you can enter as a team, individual or group.
Coaching is provided for rookies, and the event includes ice time, coaching, equipment, a shoot-out, post-curling games and beverages.
Check out the event on FB for more, or email them: [email protected]
Golf In The Dark
Unfortunately, Putt Mini Golf in the south end is closing their doors at month’s end.
But you can give them an enthusiastic send-off with a round or two of glow-in-the-dark mini putt this weekend.
And if you haven’t been to Putt Mini Golf, you’re missing out on 18 holes of neon lit, undersea themed fun. Plus an on-site arcade!
