Happening this weekend in and around Barrie…
The Skate Escape @ Friday Harbour
Take the kids and that special someone to Friday Harbour and get on the ice. The skate escape happens Saturday and Sunday from 1-9pm. Being Valentine’s day weekend, there is also plenty of romantic themed activities in the shops and restaurants.
Live Music & Superbowl Parties
Flying Monkey’s, The Common Good cafe, the British Arms and of course the Indie Distributor at the 400 Market are all offering tunes this weekend.
There’s also karaoke at Cheers, if you feel the need for belting out an anthem or two.
Looking for a spot to watch the big game? Big screens will air every minute at Donaleigh’s, Malones Pint House, the Locker Room and The Queens.
Brewery Tour
Speaking of Flying Monkey’s, their behind the scenes tours are back at various times through the weekend. It’s a fun (and free!) outing to see how that delicious golden beverage comes together before hitting your pint glass.
