TBTB Returns For A New Season With A Star Studded Premiere

Theatre By The Bay is back. With a bang.

The 2019 season begins on May 13th, with a multi layered show featuring the talents of celebrated Canadian and local acts.

Grammy and Juno nominated artist Mark Masri headlines this year’s show. Well known to music fans, Masri has recorded with David Foster, Olivia Newton-John, and Jon Secada.

Among other highlights is an appearance by noted Canadian performer Raoul Bhaneja. HBO fans will recognize Raoul from the critically acclaimed mini series The Best Laid Plans.

Beyond the host and headliners, Stars Come Out 2019 boasts Broadway star Cornelia Luna. Joining them are local artists AJ Bridel, Alana Bridgewater, David Ball, and Army of Sass Barrie.

The local theatre company is now in it’s 18th year. It’s the first season under the watch of Artistic Director Iain Moggach, who thinks attendees are in for a stellar evening.

“I am so excited for our headliner, Mark Masri. The guy is a Grammy and Juno nominated singer and if you have heard his music, you know why. He has an unforgettably beautiful voice. I think he is just going to blow our audience away.”

All funds raised during Stars Come Out supports Theatre by the Bay’s 2019 season. Tickets (including The VIP experience) are available through the Five Points Theatre box office.
