Snowboards! Songs! Sign Making! 4 Things To Do in Barrie This Weekend

The weekend following New Year’s is a good time to do things QUIETLY.

Luckily, there are plenty of non loud events and happenings across town to keep you occupied.

Click on the headline for more info on each event!

Salomon Snowboard Demo

Now that the festive season is in the rear view mirror, it’s the ideal time to soak up winter weather activities. Hit up Snow Valley on Sunday to check up the new line of snow boards and the attendant gear. Demos are free, but id is required to take one out on the hills.

Snowshoe and Yoga Experience

And keeping with Snow Valley, on Saturday they are offering a interpretive hike and yoga day. Traipse through the forests, enjoy a bonfire and treats and then wrap the evening with a rejuvenating Yoga session with the relaxing sensation of Hot Stones.

Friends Fanatics Sign Making

Friends is enjoying a renaissance thanks to Netflix and other streaming services, and fanatics of the series can show their love for the Central Perk gang with a sign!

On Sunday the Ol West Wing on Prince William hosts a sign making afternoon lead by Urban Pallet DiY. You’ll leave the afternoon with a killer art piece made of recycled wood.
