Can we talk about November? Nestled between the holiday-filled October and December, it often seems a little dreary and lacklustre in comparison. But we’re here for November and want to convince you that November is actually pretty rad. Here’s what’s on tap this November in Barrie.

Remembrance Day Parade & Ceremony @ Meridan Place
Commemorating all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the Remembrance Day Parade & Ceremony will take place in Barrie on Monday, Nov 11 at 10:30. Watch the parade as it moves through the downtown, then join the community for a ceremony, laying of wreaths and moment of silence at Memorial Square.
Skip the tuna sandwich at your desk and try some art for lunch this November. Happening November 8 from 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm, this free event allows participants to explore an art-related concept and mingle with other art enthusiasts. This month’s topic will be of particular interest to practicing and emerging artists as it focuses on the history, structure and ongoing work of CARFAC National.

What’s better than a cold, locally brewed brewski? A cold, locally brewed brewski that is ON SALE. That’s right, friends – Redline Brewery is getting in on the Back Friday game with an epic sale! It’s happening Nov 29th, involves huge deals on beer and merchandise, and includes samplings of beer and snacks.
There’s a new place to get your savasana on in Barrie. Get your asana to Sonder Studio, located in Barrie’s east end. Their Flow Yoga class is happening Nov 5, Nov 12 and Nov 14 at 7am and focuses on breath synchronization and maintaining a comfortable, gentle pace.
