We got a bit of good news earler this month with news that Drive In movie theatres could open up again. Which is great for movie lovers in Barrie, since we have Sunset Drive In on Shanty Bay road in our backyard.

And there are still plenty of other online fun to be had, if the outdoors isn’t doable.

Here’s 4 (virtual) Things to do this week!

4 Online Things To Do This Week

Coding, game design, and entrepreneurism – skills that are all transferable to real life, whether it’s a team project at school, extracurricular activities, or maybe even inspiring a career in STEM!
Code Ninjas wants to teach some of them to the budding Bill Gates in your fam. Learn how to create and code games, and program languages.

Together At Home

The City of Barrie has been curating an online platform called the Together At Home Hub with a focus on keeping all of us active and social while at home. They’ve got a whack of fitness videos, as well as fun stuff like baking and mini-golf. A great way to shake off the isolation doldrums.
