The Week That Was in Barrie Nov. 9th

Another victim of 2020’s shutdowns was the classic car shows we normally see along the lakeshore and around the region. But that hasn’t kept auto enthusiasts from showing off their rides around town!

Now that the construction along Dunlop is completed, we’re getting a great look at the new downtown strip. And the cool homegrown business that are coming back, including the new home for 5 Points Barbers.

This past week set records for warm temperatures in November, and all that sun made for some terrific photos. Like this beautiful shot from @redlinia of Centennial Park.

Hockey is coming back! (At least in some form) And with it comes practice…and anyone who’s been on the rink in a competitive capacity knows well the leg burn these drills bring…

The 8th annual Diwali bash went ahead this week. And if you’ve never experienced it, mark it on your calendars for next year!
