This Thursday you can support a great cause and take part in a virtual spring fashion show. This event will showcase fashion & style in a way that can be enjoyed safely from home, via FB live.

Featuring some of Barrie’s most beloved local shops, this online fashion show is in support of the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie.

Virtual PAINT NITE – Seasons II

Connect through art, virtually! Learn to paint a painting, step by step, using your own supplies from the comfort of your home.

PLEASE NOTE this is a paid, bring-your-own supplies event. The event will be held through the popular video conferencing platform, Zoom. It will feature a group size similar to that of a regular in-venue Paint Nite event, and allow for screen-sharing and audio communication for extra one-on-one time with your host. Friday Night Dining Out at Home

Chef William from Bacio Trattoria and Trent from Wine Journeys will provide a meal kit for 2 (Caprese Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs with Bacio’s house made pasta and tomato sauce, small bottle of sparkling wine, 750 mL red wine). Vegetarians – we will substitute breaded eggplant for meatballs. Email/message us if you want a vegetarian option. Ticket holders can pick up their kit at Bacio Trattoria on Thursday, April 9 or the afternoon of Friday, April 10.

Chef Will will take you through the finishing touches on the dinner using Zoom. Then Trent will take over. He will give you his thoughts on the wines and the food pairings and answer your questions.

It’s like dining out while staying in! This is as close as we can get to our usual monthly tasting dinners at Bacio in the virtual world.

Music in the Mall with Barrie Music Festival

Music in the Georgian Mall allows music students a chance to share their musical talents with the public.

Performers from the Barrie Music Festival will be in the Mall this week with free performances. Look for them in the courtyard in front of the Shoppers on the main level.
