Want To Avoid Long Lines at Costco? There’s an App For That

A new Canadian-developed web app is now available to let you know what the estimated wait time is to get into grocery stores.

It’s called Live Lineups.

You can log into it on your phone (make sure locations are enabled) While you are in the store, you can report waiting times and availability of items like cleaning products and baby essentials. Even more handy, you can search for stores based on location and/or what they have in stock.

The wait times are only at select stores for now. Costco, No Frills, Zehrs, Sobeys and the LCBO are among the bigger chains that you can check out before you shop. Stores can be searched using the map function. There’s also a list format.

It’s also a great tool for store managers to use. By reporting on the wait times, managers can distribute the load of patrons. Or to let shoppers know when there are no lineups.

You can check it out right here.
