Iron’s Perfect Picks Returns For The 2020/21 Football Season

Iron Bruce is a long-time resident of Barrie.  For decades now he has been a sports handicapping enthusiast.  His love of the gridiron and intrigue with the Vegas line has been one of his main focuses for years now.   Five years ago Iron decided to share his enthusiasm and expertise with his beloved “peeps” on a local podcast.  Four years of documented winners and against the number caught the attention of a few of Barrie’s media.  After a lot of thought Iron decided Barrie Uncovered were by far the best fit for him.

Known for his humorous takes and anecdotes combined with a rapier wit and uncanny ability to pick winners weekly on his BIG BOARD selections.

Iron is hard at work every week, scouring the form books and the Vegas odds to give his top picks every week. Iron is a must for listening for football fans looking for the inside scoop on all the Sunday games.  So Barrie football fans no matter your skill level and knowledge, can you really afford to miss a minute. Join Iron Bruce every Sunday at 11.00 am on the Barrie Uncovered Facebook page.  See if your team makes the BIG BOARD, find out how to play the double-digit favourites, join in the fun of the mailbag, and so much more!

This episode is exactly 26:41 and if you are easily offended, there are a few swears.

Listen on Itunes, Spotify and where ever else you get podcasts! And be sure to leave us a comment and a rating when you give it a spin!

Cash Register Confessions

It’s the most wonderful time of the year; except for the people working the stores.

How rough is working the front lines of retail during the holidays? We dispatched our social media reporter Danielle to collect some confidential cash register confessions…

Cinema Smackdown Episode 2 – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In our second episode of Cinema Smack Down, Fraser and Scott review the 1990 shell-head classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and conclude (among other things) that the film heroes were probably guilty of lifting clothes from dead bodies, and that animatronics in the early 90s left much to be desired.

If you are easily offended, there are a few swears.
