TROUBADOUR – Barrie

Coming to Barrie for the third time in 2020, Troubadour is a multi-genre music festival produced by Inside The Music with focus and spotlight on songwriters.

Last year over 2500 attended 30 shows, held at various venues in the downtown core. Troubadour offers a blend of tastes from the local scene and beyond, including singer/songwriter, soul, blues, roots, indie rock, rock ‘n roll, and country rock.

GUSSAPOLOOZA – Holland’s Landing

Back for another year of camping infused outdoor tuneage, Gussapolooza brings the noise in the last few days of summer.

Focused entirely on Indie bands from the region, the 2 day camp and concert experience is a legit grassroots music event.

Barrie was well rep’d last year with the likes of Crast and the Noolands headlining, and submissions are now open.

 

BOOTS AND HEARTS – Burl’s Creek

Canada’s largest camping and country music festival takes over Oro Medonte August 6-9th. Packed with heavy hitters from the country scene, as well as up and comers, it’s a 4 day jam that has to be experienced to be understood.

An EDM focused event, Ever After brings festival goers into a fantasy getaway experience generated by engaging sounds and stunning visuals.

INDIE WEEK – Toronto

Happening in November, Indie Week is the premiere emerging artist festival in Canada with five days and nights of music, showcases, the Indie 101 conference, and the Indie Week Awards show

Taking place in downtown Toronto, artists not only get the chance to showcase in front of industry professionals but they are also invited to participate in the Indie 101 conference. Featuring panels, mentorship, B2B meetings, demo listening sessions and industry mixers with over 350+ Delegates.
