All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week

Death.

Taxes.

Social media.

The Social Recap – The Week That Was Nov. 22nd

What a fantastic weekend to be downtown. First up, now that the big tree made an appearance at Meridian place, we can officially begin Christmas-ing (it’s a word!). And on top of that, the winter lights have returned to Heritage park.

As we mentioned in this space previously, you can deal with the first big snowfall in Barrie in two ways: bury yourself under blankets until March, or embrace the winter wonderland! Getting out for a hike can be the antidote to the winter blahs. Especially with scenery like this….

Another great reason to come downtown? It was an anniversary for one of the coolest spots on Dunlop. Congrats to the crew at J’Adore for nearly a decade of providing decadent treats!
