All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week
There are three certainties in life…
And if you are tweeting, posting and talking about Barrie on social media, we want to hear from you!
The Social Recap – The Week That Was May 31st
As the hot rolls in, the weekends get more vital. Hitting the open water is just about a law in Barrie, particularly when you have access to watercraft like these babies!
What is it about sunset that makes everything seem so cinematic and cool? Check out this end of day snap at the Barrie skate park…
…and you can say the same about dawn!
And speaking of the warm weather, when the sun is out so are the acro-Yoga experts! Keep an eye out for the crew from @bridgesacro all over the waterfront as they stretch and arc in ways the human body doesn’t seem capable of!
Even though the Leafs once again found a way to break our hearts (we’ll pause while you yell and sob) it wasn’t all bad news for hockey fans in our neck of the woods. Former Barrie Colt Andrew Mangiapane led Team Canada to gold at the World Championship. (Andrew, would you consider a trade to Toronto??)
And finally, we’re oh so close to getting back to the patios and dining downtown. When you are coming to the city’s core to patronize the cool assortment of shops and restaurants, keep your eyes open for the terrific amount of art on display.
