All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week
There are three certainties in life…
And if you are tweeting, posting and talking about Barrie on social media, we want to hear from you! Every week we will do a quick recap of the week that was in Barrie based on your pics, posts and videos.
Whether it’s concerts, store openings, foodie reviews, feelgood stories, fun facts about Barrie, even bizarre bird formations over the marina, we want to share it.
Here’s what went down in Barrie last week…
Halloween is fast approaching, and the annual Ghost Bus made a scary stop at the Holly Rec centre on Friday, and @xsxpxixdxexrxsx was there!
And it wouldn’t be Halloween without killer costumes! Check out the cosplay on display from @puppy_piper_and_kimberley and crew at Redline Brewhouse.
Here’s a totally not controversial to ask Barrie foodies…who in town has the best burger? We’ll just stand back while you all debate that with your fists. BUT…no matter how preferences, we can agree that Burger Royale on Napier would at least be in the convo, right? @Zipppyturtle certainly would agree!
Have you heard of @scriptoball? If not, you need to check them out. They’re a Barrie based custom golf ball producer who can put almost anything on a ball! And they sponsor our weekly Football podcast.
The week before Halloween is always a bit manic (in the best sense of the word) in the downtown sectors. @iamyoungsaintnick was on the frontlines of the extra eerie nighttime fun at the Alley.
Speaking of downtown, there was a welcome sight this week when some of the fences around the construction zone came down. @bravolingerie was happy to see it!
If you’re tweeting, posting and blogging about Barrie, we want to promote your stuff! Use the hashtag #barrieuncovered and we may feature your content in our weekly recap!
