All The Good (And Occasional) Bad of What Went Down in Barrie Last Week
There are three certainties in life…

Whether it’s concerts, store openings, foodie reviews, feelgood stories, fun facts about Barrie, even bizarre bird formations over the marina, we want to share it.
Here’s what went down in Barrie last week…
There are few things as enjoyable as a warm drink with a dash of art. And The Common Good cafe in downtown Barrie is one of the most creative barista joints in town, as evidenced by this cappuccino creation sampled by @cadore.bruna
It’s getting close to Halloween, so all of the older buildings seem all the more creepy. And anyone who has spent time after hours at the Uptown Theatre can attest to the fact that…there might be something paranormal hanging around there. Check out this video from a ghost hunting trip at the theatre (sound on so you can hear the spirit box trying to capture some actual ghostly speaking)
Speaking of the Uptown, it was the setting for the kickoff of the 22nd Annual Barrie Film Festival on Friday!
When is a Hockey Arena not a hockey arena? The Simcoe County Bridal show returned to the BMC this weekend, and it takes a while to set up. Especially getting all that ice out of the way.
And finally…sometimes you just have to take a moment, and sit in the Big Comfy chair at Park Place. As @pauvargas demonstrated!
