Who among us doesn’t love a good game of Scrabble? Bet you didn’t know that there is a weekly Scrabble meet up at @creatingconnectionbarrie where wordsmiths can duke it out tile by tile for the title of Supreme Linguist.
Speaking of supreme performances, the Baycats look to be well on their way to a 6th straight IBL championship after thrashing Kitchener to take a 3-0 series lead into this week. Go ‘Cats!
And just as the Baycats season winds down, the Colt’s season cranks up. With physicals! The players checked in to @m2mbarrie for fitness testing ahead of their season opener.
Fantastic news for local Moms of infants…Movies For Mommies is coming to Barrie! This is a progam that screens grown up movies in a baby friendly theatre with reduced sound so you can bring the little ones with you.
And finally, as summer 2019 inevitably inches to it’s final act, it was great to see people enjoying August’s last week on the water as @padde4theCure took over the waterfront!
