Events of the past year have brought seismic changes to the world of dining out.
The Dining Experience
Restaurant patrons have sorely missed the ‘Dining Experience’. In the past, heading out for a meal could mean anything from a quick ‘re-fueling’ stop while out running errands to meeting friends and sharing a special occasion meal.
New in Takeout
During this past year takeout has become a big thing – and that likely isn’t going to change anytime soon.
What has changed though is that restaurants have worked very hard to create takeout menus with dishes that are more interesting, travel well and are presented in a much more attractive fashion.
So Much Creativity
Restaurateurs have become very creative in order to keep their doors open. In some cases they’ve become more than just a restaurant. I know of those that have become wine shops, have specialty items for sale or even a place to order basic groceries or meal packages as well!
Make your Reservations Now!
Looking forward to restrictions being lifted, patrons have started to make plans on where they want to enjoy their first dining experience in a long time.
The Patios of Barrie
Being this time of year opens endless opportunities in Barrie. We are blessed with incredible patios and decks; many of them overlooking the bay.
One that immediately comes to mind is Grillicious Tap and Grill at 3 Mulcaster Street. Not only do they have a great patio with one of the best waterfront views; their menu is simply outstanding.
Husband and wife team, Jason and Josie have created meals from basic burgers to Bulgogi beef. Everything possible is made small batch, fresh and in house.
Whatever your pleasure – a quick meal or a dining experience celebrating the reopening of the world – Grillicious is the perfect choice.
If you’re still not ready to venture out – no worries – the takeout/delivery menu is superb; especially with the addition of their new upscale pizza menu.
For any occasion – Choose Grillicious!
