There’s a great place to stop in Barrie – that everyone should know about.
Try A New Restaurant
Now that things are normalizing, summer is here and cottage trips are being planned; it’s time to consider meals to take.
Cottage time, well truth be told, summer time is the perfect time to scope out restaurants that you may not have tried yet. Sometimes it’s a meal to eat on the way to a destination, take with you to enjoy at a destination or simply take home and ‘savour the flavour’. It’s just understood that after a day in the sun or out in/on the water, really, who wants to cook?
We're not Fast Food...
Trying out a restaurant with the logo “We’re not fast food – We’re FRESH food that makes the Best Jerk North of the Island” makes total food sense to us!
What’s more…due to opening just before COVID closed the world, Irie Jerk is celebrating with a Grand Re-opening July 30 – Aug. 1st. There will be music, giveaways and of course, great food, this time being grilled to Jerk perfection in a drum!
We really hope though, that you find time to drop in to meet the smiling faces on the staff at Irie Jerk. They have so much to offer. Great food, Great fun, and Phenomenal service.
Supporting Local Artists
If you do have a chance to drop in, make sure to check out the creations by local artist nurse on fire.
Marsha, a nurse at our own RVH, found that during COVID she really needed to find a way to unwind after her very hectic shifts. As an artist and with an added love of photography she has taken her abilities one step further in creating some incredible wall art with macrame. With some of her pieces on display it’s…
Just another great reason to stop into the Irie Jerk!
