THE BEST OF BARRIE’S CONCERTS THIS WEEK
“Music Gives a Soul To The Universe” – Plato
As any veteran of Barrie’s live music scene will tell you, there aren’t many nights off here.
If you’re game for going out, the city by the Lake is guaranteed to have a gig for you every week. Whether you’re feeling an alt rock blowout, an intimate jazz ensemble or a laid back acoustic set, Thursday through Saturday in Barrie are jammed with jams from local talent and edgy bands from across the region.
Happening this week on the stage in Barrie…
THE FOXX LOUNGE
THURSDAY – The “let’s get a head start on the weekend” day of the week is always a blast at the Foxx. New music Thursday this week rolls out a trio of Ontario bands; Quarter Tank, Trauma Lanes and Lawless Sons. All three skew to the heavy side of the guitar, while headliner Lawless Sons are edging into radio play with their new single Mufasa.
