Barrie Uncovered had a unique opportunity with a group of best friends kicking around on a Saturday afternoon looking for a new fall wardrobe. We caught up with them at The Clothing Guy on Bayfield Street.
New Fall Wardrobe - 'G.Q.' Style
We had so much fun that day. The guys Balint, Nick and Spencer were telling us how many events and openings they had been to, and that they like to dress a bit ‘G.Q.’ when they’re out and about. Especially when they grab the chance to meet up with friends.
This is how our day panned out:
The Clothing Guy opened in February 2020, surviving on curbside pickup only for the duration of the shutdown.
With their extreme focus on Customer Service, tailored clothing and high end choices, you’d be hard pressed to find any other shop quite like them in Barrie. It was likely such attention to these details that kept them going for us.
With 200 types of fabric, choices of being fit off the rack or custom tailoring, there is sure to be something for everyone. They also carry men’s formal wear to either puchase or rent as necessary. Really The Clothing Guy is totally capable of dressing you head to toe.
The group of friends that we shared the day with were telling us that everyone should experience the luxurious feel and detail of one of their favs, New York based designer – Robert Graham’s mens line. The other brand that caught their eyes was the Goodman Brand and their soft, supple leather sneakers with incredible detailing.
Check out the Designers
There’s lots of designers to choose from with Downie Street, Leo Chavalier, John Varvatos and Paul Betenly available now, and Jack Victor lines soon to arrive.
Anyone looking for a great selection of high quality fashions, business, casual or even formal wear may want to add The Clothing Guy to their list of shops they don’t want to miss.
