Rainbows is a national organization based in Barrie. They partner with communities to offer a peer support programs for children, teens and adults who have experienced a separation, divorce, death or other painful transition within their family.
The mission of Rainbows is to assist participants sort through their pain and confusion, build self-esteem and learn positive coping strategies to deal with their loss.

The Senior Wish Association brings attention and companionship to seniors in our communities who are isolated and lonely.
This is achieved through wish granting, companionship, recreational activities, inter-generational programs, educational opportunities for youth and families and the dissemination of health and safety best practices.
The Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County envisions healthy, hopeful, and empowered individuals, supported by a community that understands the challenges, stigmas, and systemic issues faced by those at risk.
They are based in downtown Barrie. You can help through fundraising or donating.
