Vintage Throne joins the Baycats family
Baycats fans, there’s a new sponsor in town!
Vintage Throne Barber Lounge is the new stadium name sponsor for the Barrie Baycats. Moreover, formerly known Coates Stadium had its new name & sign officially unveiled on Thursday afternoon. In addition, this exciting new partnership brings the dawn of a new era for the Baycats.
“It’s surreal. We’re excited with this new partnership and what’s to come,” said Di Tommaso.
Further, Vintage Throne resides in the South end of Barrie on 474 Big Bay Point Rd.

Vintage Throne sees themselves as an ideal fit with Baycats
Di Tommaso’s team began volunteering at the park before any partnership talks. Ultimately, this led to further discussions about the stadium’s naming rights. As a result, Di Tommaso saw an opportunity and capitalized on it.
“We’re a family business and love baseball. It’s a perfect match,” Di Tommaso explained.
Similarly, Baycats President Josh Matlow loves the partnership.
“It’s a great day for the Baycats family,” Matlow shared.

Furthermore, Vintage Throne Stadium is located at 2100 Nursery Road in Midhurst, Ontario. The 2022 Intercounty Baseball League season kicks off in May, while the Baycats’ home opener is set for the 19th. Likewise, the Baycats host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:30 pm.
The sponsorship deal with Vintage Throne runs for four years, while talks on an extension remain open.
The Baycats now sit atop a newly named throne. Barrie baseball just got a lot more exciting!
