Baycats Ink Multiple Players to Roster
The Barrie Baycats announced a trio of player signings over the weekend. First, the seven-time champs re-signed southpaw pitcher Aidan Rossel. Rossel remains with the Baycats through the 2022 Intercounty Baseball League season.
Next, the team announced the return of right-handed pitcher and Baycats Pitching Coach Brad Grieveson. The Barrie, Ontario native provides excellent guidance to a growing Baycats bullpen. What’s more, Grieveson is a one-time IBL champion and one of the better relief pitchers in the game.
Finally, the Baycats revealed that infielder Michael Cecchetto returns next season. Cecchetto runs it back with the Baycats after joining the team last year.
