Dayco Snowcross Championship Finals
The Canadian Snowcross Racing Association presents the Dayco National Snowcross Championship Finals over the weekend.
Snowmobile enthusiasts gather at Horseshoe Valley Resort for a weekend of snowmobile racing. Drive meetings for practice along with race classes for kids kick off today. Further, races commence on Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 pm and run until April 3.

Barrie Colts battle the Knights and Battalion
The Colts kick off their weekend schedule against the London Knights. Colts Country welcomes the Knights to Sadlon Arena for a 7:30 pm contest. Furthermore, this is the first meeting between the clubs this season.
Then, the boys travel to North Bay Memorial Gardens for a Sunday afternoon match against the North Bay Battalion. While the clubs are familiar with one another this season and the series is close, the Colts hold an 8-6-1-0 advantage over their counterpart.
In addition, the Colts’ season nears completion. Coupled with their weekend contests, the Colts have seven more games on the schedule. Comparatively, the team sits fifth in the OHL’s Eastern Conference standings.
Barrie Curling Club hosts the Men’s Bonspiel event
Barrie’s Curling Club hosts its Men’s Bonspiel event on Saturday, April 2. Moreover, the event takes place at 175 Essa Rd.
Notably, participants will play three 6-end games while a lunch and steak dinner are provided. A large prize table is included, and to the victor go the spoils! For this reason, registrations run at $300 per rink.
